For those who like it a little more comfortable, RUKU1952^® also offers beer benches with backrests, which are of course foldable. The width of the backrest is 18 cm.

The backrest guarantees a comfortable sitting with its ergonomically optimized backrest inclination. Of course, the slightly wider seat also contributes to this. In addition, each beer bench with backrest is supplied as standard with an additional extension at the rear of the frame. This increases the stability of the beer bench and thus prevents the bench from tipping over.

Selected Wood Quality

Qualitative. Only selected, kiln-dried spruce wood is used for the production of our folding tables and benches – with minimal thermal distortion and knotholes.

Patent-Registered C-Profile

Thanks to the innovative C-profile, the stability of the base frame is increased by up to 20% compared to conventional base frames. The base frames are coated with a high-quality polyester-based powder. This coating is very suitable for outdoor use, as it protects against dirt.

Bracket Grid

A special mechanism guarantees that the bracket will not detach when the folded table or bench is lifted.

Corner Welding

The additional weld seam at the corners of the base frame closes the edges of the individual bent parts and joins them together to form a clean and robust unit.

Plastic Sliders

Prepared for fragile surfaces: holes in the footprint for optional plastic sliders.

Firelock® UV Varnish

Our specially developed and certified Firelock® UV varnish is classified as “flame-retardant” according to DIN 4102 B1. The UV nano glaze is solvent-free, environmentally friendly and food-safe. It is also inherently elastic and adapts to the shrinkage behavior of the wood. This guarantees optimum adhesion of the UV glaze to the wood and minimizes moisture infiltration.

Solid Lock

Developed by RUKU1952® – tried and tested a million times for over 70 years: The fully galvanised lock and retaining spring, both double bolted, ensure secure hold and perfect functioning.

Rear-Bolted Stacking Ledges

Thanks to the rear-bolted stacking ledges, thus the tabletop remains undamaged and weather damages are avoided.

Stiffening Ribs

The additional stiffening ribs in the cross bracing increase stability.

Strong Plates

Our folding furniture sets consist of 29 mm in thick bench plates and 24 mm in thick table plates – for better breaking and deformation resistance.

High-Strength Two-Component Adhesive

Solid. We only use a high-strength two-component adhesive to glue the different wooden parts in order to achieve top seam strength and high UV-resistance.

Pine, natural or ochre - choose your favourite from a range of 3 colours for your table and bench set. Further colours for the wood and base frame are of course available on request. Ask about our minimum quantities!
